天父,
Thank you for bringing us to this special day. We are grateful for Your faithfulness. It is with incredible awe that we reflect on the journey of our children from birth to today’s graduation. It seems like just yesterday, when our children were young, that we felt utterly inadequate to be good parents. Then you reminded us that these little ones are Yours 和 You gave us grace for every moment. We wondered how to hold them, but You reminded us we are all in Your h和s. We questioned how will we provide for them, but Your Word tells us that we don’t have to worry because You meet all our needs. We could not always protect them, but You are our refuge 和 fortress 和 we trust in You. We want to know “will their dreams come true”, but You remind us that we don’t need to underst和 everything along the way because You, 主, 指引我们的脚步.
像今天这样的日子, when we find it difficult to let go, we realize how fast our parenting season is coming to an end. Sovereign God, we pause today to remember that You are our protector, our provider, our Savior ,
我们的一切. We don’t know what the future holds – but 主, You do. We can’t always be there – but 主, You are. We make our plans, but You, 主, determine our steps. For you, Oh 主, watch over the path of the Godly.
So 天父, today as our children take the next step in becoming adults we humbly request:
——你的 和平 in the midst of the storms.
——你的 强度 在我们的软弱中.
——你的 智慧 照亮我们的道路.
主, guide 和 protect our children. We commit these new graduates to Your work 和 we take this opportunity to pray a special blessing directly over our kids.
Graduates as you leave here today we pray:
– For discretion to protect you 和 keep you pure.
——可能 you always remain 卑微的 和 种类.
——可能 正直 和 真理 be what you defend.
——可能 God’s light that’s within you 发光 进入黑暗.
——可能 your spirit grow 大胆的 for God’s calling on your life.
——可能 you never forget the 圣经的真理 imparted to you here at Dayspring.
As you rest in God’s care, we rest in the knowledge that God has your best in mind. He loves you even more then we do. 主, we acknowledge our complete dependance on You. We commit our children to Your care. In the Holy name of Jesus we pray.
